Group 1: Group "Vegan - ad libitum": Phase 1: 4 weeks - Acclimation to physical training, concludes with assessment of physical performance, body composition, and well-being
Phase 2: 2 weeks - Consistent training, documentation of nutrition and well-being, concludes with assessment
Phase 3 (Intervention) - 3 weeks: Consistent training, transition to an ad libitum vegan diet, documentation of nutrition and well-being, concludes with assessment
Phase 4 - 2 weeks: Return to habitual diet, documentation of nutrition and well-being, concludes with assessment Group 2: Group "Vegan - isocaloric": Phase 1: 4 weeks - Acclimation to physical trainin

Inclusion criteria: healthy, physically active adults

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cardiovascular diseases, metabolic disorders, regular medication use

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. Strength performance: Measurement of isometric maximum strength in the leg press and chest press after each phase 2. Endurance performance: Assessment of maximum oxygen uptake via spiroergometry after each phase

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Body composition: Measurement of body weight, body fat, and muscle mass using bathroom scales and bioimpedance analysis scales after each phase. 2. Well-being: Assessment of general well-being, sleep quality, and muscular condition via questionnaire during phases 2-4. 3. Dietary intake: Recording of total calorie, carbohydrate, protein, and fat intake, analyzed using software, during phases 2-4.
