Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Potential study participants are all patients currently being treated at our clinic for a septal perforation. Only patients aged 18 and over who are capable of giving informed consent will be included. No further restrictions are necessary, as the study will not involve any additional examinations beyond the standard procedure and poses no risk to the patients.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients under 18 years of age and all patients without septal perforation.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The endpoints are the deviation of the digitally reconstructed volume from the shape of the volume of the epithesis or the impression (gold standard). The digital stereolithographs (STL files) from the conventional impression and the digital reconstruction will be compared.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Furthermore, we would like to learn more about the patients' symptoms with the septal perforation using the questionnaire (see questionnaire in the appendix).
