Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients: Primary diagnosis: ICD-C50.x: Malignant neoplasm of the breast [mammary gland] or enrollment in the DMP Breast Cancer program; more than 3 months ago AND at least one of the following ICD diagnosis codes for coding lymphedema: - I97.20 – I97.22 Lymphedema following (partial) mastectomy (with lymphadenectomy), Stage I–III - I97.29 Lymphedema following (partial) mastectomy (with lymphadenectomy), unspecified - I89.00 – I89.02 Lymphedema of the upper and lower extremity(ies), Stage I–III - I89.09 Lymphedema, unspecified Two target populations are distinguished: Target population A: Patients with a prescription for a therapeutic agent related to the indication within the last 3 months Target population B: Patients without a prescription for a therapeutic agent related to the indication within the last 12 months Physical therapists: Treatment experience with breast cancer patients covered by statutory health insurance who have secondary lymphedema and who work in the outpatient sector

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients: Surgical treatment for breast cancer within the last 3 months (OPS: 8-54, 8-87) - Ongoing oncological therapy (OPS: -, 8-52, 8-53.-, 8-54) - Breast reconstruction within the last 6 weeks (OPS: 5-885.-, 5-886.-) - Presence of secondary malignant neoplasm (recurrence) (ICD: C77.x, C79.x) - Palliative care (EBM code: 03370 – 03373 or “Prescription for specialized outpatient palliative care” [SAPV]) - Cognitive impairments beyond mild cognitive impairment (MCI) (ICD: U51.1, U51.2, F00.x, F01.x, F02.x, F03, F05.x). Arm 2: Treatment preferences of patients with BCRL (quantitative online survey); current state of care practices among physical therapists (quantitative online survey). Arm 3: Outline of guiding principles, e.g., health economic efficiency, patient preferences.
