Group 1: Participants with Public Speaking Anxiety (PSA) and/or Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD): Participants with PSA and/or SAD will be recruited from ongoing laboratory studies involving speech expos

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Fluent in German For group with PSA and/or SAD: - Affected by public speaking anxiety (as measured by screening questions)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: For group with PSA and/or SAD: - Individuals with current mental disorders other than public speaking anxiety and/or social anxiety disorder are excluded from participation. Individuals meeting criteria for social anxiety disorder are eligible to participate.

* Study 1: Mood and CS-Valence ratings during the experiment * Study 2: Where different interventions are applied, resulting in a between-group variable, intervention will be included as a covariate in analyses of phases following the intervention. To assess PSA severity, participants are required to complete the 34-item Personal Report of Public Speaking Anxiety (PRPSA; McCroskey, 1970) on each of the three experimental days and one month after the exposure treatment. Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) will be measured using the self-report Social Phobia Inventory (SPIN), Social Phobia Scale (SPS) and Social Interaction Anxiety Scale (SIAS) subtests from the Scales for Social Anxiety Disorder (SOZAS) (von Consbruch et al., 2016) one week prior to exposure and one month after exposure. * The following self-report questionnaires will be collected (Study 1 and 2): Public Speaking Anxiety: Personal Report of Public Speaking Anxiety (McCroskey, J.
