Inclusion criteria: - Existing paper-based documentation forms from the calendar years 2024 and 2025 (adult and pediatric emergency departments, obstetrics) - All emergency department patients for free-text analysis

| 1) Characterization of the affected individuals based on the data recorded in the relevant documentation (see Appendix 1). 2) Characterization of the affected individuals in adult emergency departments based on data from clinical documentation (triage, pain score, emergency department diagnosis, case type, length of stay). 3) Characterization of the affected children based on data from clinical documentation. 4) Characterization of mothers in the context of documented questions regarding possible existing violence compared to those without possible existing violence, in accordance with the Babylotsen questionnaire (see Appendix 1). 5) Prevalence of suspected cases of domestic violence against children, which can be identified through consensus-based keyword lists in the free-text sections of adult emergency department documentation and characterized using routine clinical data. 6) Day of the week and time of presentation, resource utilization, and course of care for all subgroups mentioned. | — |
