Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients who will undergo a partial or complete nephrectomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who do not wish to participate in the study. Patients incapable of giving consent. Patients who cannot undergo surgery. Patients under 18 years of age.

Design outcomes

Primary

Measure	Time frame
Patient well-being/quality of life, determined using questionnaires preoperatively, on the 3rd postoperative day, and 3 months postoperatively.	—

Communication quality, patient motivation, learning effect, changes in eating behavior, determined using questionnaires preoperatively, on the 3rd postoperative day and 3 months postoperatively.	—
