Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Diagnosis of incorrect endotracheal tube placement based on the following two parameters: a) Center of Ventilation (x/y): target value 0.5 (± 0.05) b) Region of Interest: ventral/dorsal and right/left ? target value: 50:50 (± 5%) | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1) Median values of various EIT indices: a) Global Inhomogeneity Index (GI Index) b) Center of Ventilation c) Silent Spaces d) End-Expiratory Lung Impedance (EELI) 2) Misplacement of the tube outside the trachea (esophageal intubation) | — |
