Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of epilepsy according to the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) classification (focal, generalised, or unclassified epilepsy), sufficient cognitive and linguistic abilities to complete the AEP independently, current treatment with one or more ASM

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients not receiving ASMs or unable to complete the questionnaire due to cognitive impairment (e.g. dementia) or language barriers were excluded.
