Group 1: Standard speech-language therapy according to PhonoSens:
Children aged 3
0 years with a phonological speech sound disorder (pSSD) undergo a speech assessment, a non-verbal developmental assessment, and a hearing assessment prior to potential study inclusion.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Age 3;0–6;0 years - First language: German - Non-verbal IQ = 85 - Bilateral normal peripheral hearing (percentage hearing loss < 20%; Boenninghaus & Röser, 1973) - Children with pDLD: diagnosis according to standard criteria for phonological speech sound disorders (german S3 guideline for the treatment of speech developmental disorders)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Neuropsychiatric disorders - Childhood apraxia of speech - Lack of parental consent - History of neurosurgical interventions - Use of medications affecting brain activity
