Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All adult patients with spondylodiscitis treated between 2010 and 2025, irrespective of the primary treating department.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients younger than 18 years at the time of treatment

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Patient antibiotic susceptibility profile, obtained once or repeatedly during the course of the hospital stay, determined by laboratory analysis.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- Conversion from conservative to surgical management - In-hospital mortality - Admission to the intensive care unit - Length of hospital stay - Complications (neurological deficits, Clostr. difficile infection) - MRI findings (regression of inflammatory changes, presence of psoas abscess)
