Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing primary THA via a direct anterior approach

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with secondary hip osteoarthritis,surgery via an alternative surgical approach

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Anesthesia induction time (min) and postoperative opioid consumption expressed as morphine milligram equivalents (MME) within the first 24 and 48 hours postoperative

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Postoperative pain intensity (NRS 0–10) at 12, 24, and 48 hours postoperatively; postoperative motor function (hip flexion in degrees, days until mobilization in the room and hallway); and complication rates.
