The aim of the study is to develop and psychometrically test a valid and reliable instrument for assessing organizational health based on the SyMOA method. The instrument assesses systemic psychodynamic organizational dynamics related to psychological stress, job satisfaction, and health-related working conditions. Organizational dynamics such as chronic conflicts, dysfunctional communication patterns, or insufficient self-regulation are considered risk factors for work-related psychological stress (e.g., stress, exhaustion, reduced quality of life). The instrument can thus be understood as a health-related organizational diagnostic tool in the sense of primary preventive approaches. However, no medical diagnoses, disease data, or health-related treatment information of individual participants are collected. As part of the validation process, work-related quality of life is assessed using the WHOQOL-BREF and employee satisfaction (IAZ) is assessed as an external criterion. The OPD-SF is used to test discriminant validity. This empirically verifies the relationship between organizational dynamics and individual health-related characteristics. The aim is to develop a scientifically based instrument for identifying organizational risk constellations that can also influence mental well-being, stress levels, and organizational health in the medium to long term.
