Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Fatigue, as measured by the Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS) (score > 4)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Acute substance use disorder Acute suicidality Insufficient German language proficiency Inability to reach Nuremberg Hospital from the place of residence (for outpatient therapy sessions) Known cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, or endocrine disorders that explain the primary symptoms Dementia or other neurodegenerative disorders Psychotic disorders Ongoing disability pension application process

| Secondary biological endpoints are stress-related formation of free oxygen radicals and DNA strand breaks in the blood, as well as measurement of autonomic balance at rest and under physical stress. Secondary psychological endpoints are depression, measured using PHQ-D, and subjective stress experience, measured using PSS-4. | — |
