Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: To participate in the study, participants had to - be enrolled as students at JGU. - have the time and willingness to regularly use the training program and complete questionnaires during the study period. - be willing to give their consent to the study director and provide an email address where they could be easily reached.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Interested persons were not eligible to participate in the study if they - at the time of the study - - were not of legal age (at least 18 years old). - were not fluent in German (as the language of the resilience training was German and also included complex texts). - did not have access to an internet-enabled device with a large screen (tablet/laptop/computer), which they could use at least once a week for 45 minutes to 1.5 hours during the study period. - were in an acute mental health crisis (e.g., suicidal), - were undergoing psychotherapeutic or psychiatric treatment, and/or - suffered from one of the following conditions: schizophrenia or other psychotic disorder, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder.
