Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Age >= 18 years -Written informed consent from the patient or their legal representative or authorized proxy - SOFA = 7

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy or breastfeeding ECMO treatment prior to study inclusion Aplasia following chemotherapy or hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
