Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Simple elbow dislocation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Ipsilateral concomitant injuries of the upper extremity, history of injuries involving the affected elbow

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Mayo Elbow Performance Score (MEPS) after 6 weeks, 12 weeks, 12 months due examination and questionnaire.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Range of motion (flexion/extension (°), pronation/supination (°)), Oxford Elbow Score (OES), DASH score, complication rate, osteoarthritis (incidence), heterotopic ossifications (incidence), pain (VAS), satisfaction (school grade), stability, sense of security (1–10), protection in critical situations (yes/no).
