Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients presenting for TAVI follow-up with suspected dysfunction, degeneration, or failure of the bioprosthesis will be included. Furthermore, all patients presenting for examination in preparation for repeat valve replacement due to dysfunction or degeneration of the existing TAVI prosthesis will be included. These inclusion criteria also apply to the retrospective part of the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: he following are excluded from the prospective part of the study: - underage patients - Patients with psychiatric disorders and resulting legal incapacity

Primary

MeasureTime frame
WHAT: Analysis of CT and patient data by determining the calcium or calcification load of the prostheses. WHEN: After the CT scan data has been acquired. HOW: Using suitable software to determine the calcium or calcification load of prostheses (e.g., syngo.via or similar).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Correlation of calcium load with influencing factors such as implantation duration, underlying diseases (e.g. renal insufficiency), thrombosis or mechanical stress.
