Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Primary outcome is hostility toward the least-liked social group. Participants will first be presented with a list of different social groups and asked to select the group they like the least (“least liked group”), following the procedure described by Verkuyten et al. (2024). Attitudes toward this selected group will then be assessed using several items capturing, among others, the following dimensions: perceived threat to society, attributed moral integrity, perceived patriotism, perceived tolerance, willingness to cooperate, willingness to compromise, and perceived similarity to one’s own group. Responses will be recorded on continuous scales ranging from -50 to +50, and the individual items will be combined into a composite score of intergroup hostility. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The secondary endpoint of the study is sexual functioning, assessed across multiple dimensions. This includes sexual desire (SDI-2), sexual experience (ASEX), sexual excitation and inhibition tendencies (SIS/SES), aggressive sexual fantasies (ASF), and hypersexual behavior (HBI). All items are measured on continuous scales ranging from -50 to +50, allowing for a quantitative assessment of various aspects of sexual functioning. | — |
