Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Written consent form signed by the study participant 2. Confirmation of a respiratory tract infection (infiltrate on chest X-ray or chest CT scan, confirmation of a respiratory tract infection in virological or microbiological tests) 3. Oxygen saturation while breathing ambient air in the range of at least 92% to 94% or use of oxygen therapy (e.g., oxygen concentrator) to achieve an oxygen saturation of at least 92% to 94%
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. No signed consent form from the study participant 2. Patients unable to give consent 3. No signs of a respiratory tract infection (no evidence of infiltrates on chest X-ray or chest CT scan, no confirmation of a respiratory tract infection in virological or microbiological tests) 4. Oxygen saturation below 92% while breathing ambient air or when using oxygen therapy (e.g., oxygen concentrator)
