Group 1: Patients with acute type A aortic dissection, who have received surgery at Deutsches Herzzentrum der Charité and have received early application of tranexamic acid at first clinical contact.

Inclusion criteria: Surgery at one of the three centers for acute type A aortic dissection

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: chronic type A aortic dissection type B dissection
