Group 1: In patients with chronic ulcers, micronutrient and nutritional status are retrospectively examined and correlations with wound parameters are analyzed.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
•Prevalence of micronutrient deficiencies and malnutrition in patients with chronic skin ulcers. •Micronutrients: vitamin C, zinc, iron, selenium, vitamin B12, folic acid, vitamin D •Malnutrition: albumin, hemoglobin.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
•Severity of micronutrient deficiencies and malnutrition (mild, moderate, severe) •Correlation between micronutrient status/malnutrition and wound parameters: -Wound size -Wound duration -Location of ulcers •Occurrence of multiple micronutrient deficiencies •Association with risk factors such as age, gender, comorbidities, smoking, obesity
