Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Adult volunteers who, in the opinion of the PIs, are in good health for their age, including those with chronic conditions that are controlled by medication. Health status is assessed in a structured interview. • 18 years of age or older • Not pregnant • Body weight = 50 kg • BMI 18–28 kg/m² • At least 1 year of abstinence from nicotine products • At least 1 week of abstinence from vitamins and fish oil products • Presence of documented consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Known rheumatological disease • Chronic diseases that, in the opinion of the PIs, are not or insufficiently controlled by medication • Malignant tumors that have not been in permanent remission for the past 5 years • Severe or recurrent infection in the recent past • Test subjects who have received an experimental drug or are participants in a drug study • Subjects who have received an experimental drug or are participants in a drug study • Subjects who have used an invasive medical device within the last 30

The primary aim of this project is to characterize inter-individual variability in inflammatory signaling pathways using biosamples and associated demographic and health data from donors in age-appropriate good health (“healthy” volunteers).
