Group 1: Measurement of hemodynamic parameters during elective surgery

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Major elective abdominal surgery requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring according to institutional standards, - Age = 18 years, - Predominant sinus rhythm (= 80 % of intraoperative monitoring time, without sustained arrhythmia or pacemaker dependency), and - Provision of written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Age < 18 years, - Cardiac rhythm other than sinus rhythm, - Inability to establish an arterial line, - Refusal to provide informed consent, or - Cancellation of the planned surgical procedure
