Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patient age >18 years, retrospective evaluation of all patients who underwent major liver resection between January 1, 2006, and December 31, 2024.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient age < 18 years, combination of major liver resection with another oncological procedure, missing or insufficient information regarding pre- or postoperative PPI therapy based on retrospective data
