Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Elective, non-cardiac surgery under general anesthesia - Possession of health insurance - Provision of written informed consent - Presence of at least one cardiovascular risk factor (CVRF) and/or an established cardiovascular disease (CVD) in accordance with current guidelines

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Contraindications to 24-hour blood pressure monitoring - Intensive care unit admission within the last 30 days - Pregnancy or breastfeeding

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Performance of the hypotension prediction model measured as the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUROC). Hypotension is defined as a mean arterial pressure (MAP) < 65 mmHg or the need for vasopressor therapy to maintain a MAP of at least 65 mmHg. Post-induction hypotension (PIH) is defined as hypotension occurring after induction of general anesthesia until surgical incision, with particular focus on the first 15 minutes after anesthesia induction. Intraoperative hypotension (IOH) is defined as hypotension occurring from surgical incision until the end of anesthesia. Data analysis is based on medical history, data from non-invasive nocturnal blood pressure monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), and the hospital information system
