Group 1: Retrospective analysis of all adult patients of the outpatient clinic of the TU Braunschweig from 2015 - 2025.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients who underwent therapy with at least 5 sessions between 2015 and 2025 at the psychotherapy outpatient clinic of the TU Braunschweig.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Insufficient or insufficiently consistent values available to reliably determine the therapeutic jumps.

Sudden Gain / Sudden Loss: Using the scores of the PHQ-9 (Patient Health Questionnaire) and the GAD-7 (Generalised Anxiety Disorder Scale-7), which were collected from psychotherapy patients at each session of the diagnostic and therapeutic phase, number and time of sudden symptom change events in the positive direction (Sudden Gain) and negative direction (Sudden Loss) are calculated using a priori defined criteria. Frequency, time and association with certain predictors are to be examined.	—
