Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
This study was an observational, prospective, single-center data collection study. All patients with ductal adenocarcinoma of the pancreas who underwent surgery at the UKA Aachen between 2019 and 2023 were included. These patients underwent Level III dissection surgery. Quality of life questionnaires were collected prospectively. This study group was compared with a historical group from 2015-2018. Propensity score matching was performed, and the patients were then compared using the log-rank test and Cox regression analysis. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- Morbidity (Clavien-Dindo classification grade 0-5) - Comprehensive Complication Index (0–100) - Blood loss (ml) - In-hospital mortality (surgery date/discharge date; yes/no) - 90-day mortality (death from any cause; yes/no) - Postoperative hospital stay (surgery date/discharge date) - Resected lymph nodes (number of lymph nodes) - Anastomotic leaks (yes/no) - Pancreatic fistulas (yes/no) - Lymph fistulas (yes/no) - Overall survival after 2 years - Recurrence-free survival Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
