Inclusion criteria: 4 groups: A) HBsAg positive, no previous anti-DHV test B) HBsAg positive, anti-HDV test 10 years ago C) HBsAg positive, elevated transaminases or liver cirrhosis D) HBsAg positive, anti-HDV positive

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known HDV co-infection HBsAg negative Not capable of giving consent
