Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Systemically healthy patients (except for well-controlled diabetes HbA1c value <7 and well-controlled blood pressure) after systematic periodontitis therapy (stage II and III, grade B and C) in follow-up care (UPT = supportive periodontitis therapy) with at least 1 tooth with ST = 5 mm per quadrant. - Written, voluntary consent after verbal and written information.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • Systemically healthy adults with initial periodontitis (stage I) and severe periodontitis (stage IV) • Pregnant or breastfeeding women (due to potentially distorted parameters and a lack of safety data on the test product during pregnancy and breastfeeding) • Antibiotic use within the last 3 months • Corticosteroids, anti-inflammatory drugs • Diseases affecting wound healing and tissue response • Malfunction of the thyroid or pituitary gland • Abnormal hormone levels, anticoagulation, radiotherapy in the head and neck area, bisphosphonates for osteoarthritis • Contraindications to hyaluronic acid
