Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Indication/planning of cataract surgery Capacity to give consent, sufficient understanding to participate Willingness to participate in pre- and post-operative interviews (follow-up approx. 3 months)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Acute neurological illness (e.g., stroke within the last 3 months) Severe cognitive impairment (e.g., severe dementia) Relevant ophthalmological comorbidities with a significant impact on visual function (e.g., advanced age-related macular degeneration, optic atrophy) Planned major orthopedic surgery within the next 3 months Serious postoperative ocular complication that prevents valid follow-up
