Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| In eye diseases associated with neurotrophic keratopathy, there is a rarefaction of the subbasal nerve plexus, as shown by corneal confocal microscopy. • CNFL (corneal nerve fiber length): length of all nerve fibers + branches mm/mm2 before and 3 and 12 months after intervention | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| • CNFD (corneal nerve fiber density): total number of major nerve fibers no/mm2 • CNBD (corneal nerve branch density): number of branches no/mm2 • DCF Dendritic cell with nerve fiber contact • DCP Dendritic cell without nerve fiber contact • NCF Non-dendritic cells with nerve fiber contact • NCP Non-dendritic cells without nerve fiber contact | — |
