Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Claims data analysis with data from 2017–2020: Patients with at least one of the following conditions (underlying diagnoses): - Heart failure (ICD-10 I50) - After myocardial infarction (ICD-10 I21) - Back pain (ICD-10 M42, M47, M53, M50-M51, M54) - Depressive disorders (ICD-10 F32-F33) - Population-representative sample of insured persons covered by the Techniker Krankenkasse health insurance fund Persons for survey and linkage with claims data: Patients who agree to participate in the project (participation in the survey and linking of data) and have at least one of the following conditions (underlying diagnoses) or belong to a population-representative sample of insured persons of the Techniker Krankenkasse health insurance fund: - Heart failure (ICD-10 I50) - After myocardial infarction (ICD-10 I21) - Back pain (ICD-10 M42, M47, M53, M50-M51, M54) - Depressive disorders (ICD-10 F32-F33) Expert panel: Inclusion of experts from the expert panel: - 15 doctors from the inpatient sector, 15 doctors from the outpatient sector - Broad expertise in specialist disciplines related to the included diseases, including: general practitioners, orthopaedists, psychologists, cardiologists, psychotherapists, specialists in physical and rehabilitative medicine, physiotherapists, internists - Patient representatives - Consent to participate in the project
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Insured persons survey and linking to routine data: Patients who do not participate in the insured persons survey and consent to the use of routine data. Further exclusion criteria are: - Minors - Patients with special data protection status - Persons who have revoked their consent - Insured persons with an ongoing complaint - Persons who have terminated their insurance - Insured persons covered by employee health insurance - Persons residing abroad - Insured persons who do not wish to participate in customer surveys - Insured persons with care levels 4 and 5 - Hospice cases and - Patients with a legal representative Expert panel: Patients and doctors who do not meet the inclusion criteria. A declaration of consent was required to participate in the expert panel. Pregnant or sick persons were not explicitly excluded from recruitment.
