| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The patellar tendon shows an increase in thickness after total knee arthroplasty, 3 months postoperatively and 12 months postoperatively. Primary endpoints: Sonographic examinations preoperatively, 3 months postoperatively, and 12 months postoperatively of the operated and contralateral knee. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| How often do pathological changes occur in the patellar tendon? Changes in the patellar tendon based on sonographic examinations performed preoperatively, 3 months postoperatively, and 12 months postoperatively on the operated and contralateral knee. 1. Diameter of the tendon (thickness) 2. Neovascularization 3. Fluid in the paratendon 4. Inhomogeneities 5. Hypoechogenicity | — |
