Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Approval of inpatient psychosomatic rehabilitation by one of the participating pension insurance institutions, consent to participate in the study, sufficient knowledge of German to complete an online questionnaire
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Special measures such as rehabilitation for people with severe mental illness or measures for addiction disorders, commencement of approved psychosomatic rehabilitation before completing the first questionnaire

| Mental well-being, measured using the Module A ‘Mental and somatoform complaints’ of the HEALTH-49 questionnaire. As changes to this endpoint are of interest, it is measured at each of the 12 measurement points. The first measurement takes place as soon as (organisationally) possible after each participant has given their consent. The subsequent 11 measurement points take place over a period of 14 months at intervals of 6 weeks. | — |

| - Return to work after rehabilitation: operationalised as at least four weeks of continuous employment without being unable to work, measured using routine data from the rehabilitation data statistics basis of the German Federal Pension Insurance Fund. - Work ability, measured using the Work Ability Score at each of the 12 measurement points and as health-related days of incapacity for work in the last 6 weeks, measured at each of the measurement points except for those measurement points that fall during or less than 6 weeks after rehabilitation. | — |
