Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of different ages and sexes who presented to the Department of Ophthalmology at Hannover Medical School (MHH) for emergency care between early 2014 and the end of 2024.

Exclusion criteria: none

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Frequency and spectrum of diagnoses in emergency presentations. Evaluation of patients presenting with acute, subacute, and chronic conditions. Distribution of patient presentations during regular working hours as well as on weekends and public holidays. Requirement for multidisciplinary medical evaluation (neurological, dermatological, and internal medicine consultations).
