Group 1: Retrospective analysis of patients who underwent minimally invasive correction of pectus excavatum with the Nuss technique between the years 2015 and 2024.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The patients underwent a pectus excavatum correction. The correction was performed in the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Surgery at the Schwarzwald-Baar Hospital between January 2015 and April 2024. The data collected from the hospital software are sufficient for statistical analysis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients whose collected data are not sufficient for statistical analysis

Primary endpoint: Rate of bar dislocations as a criterion for effective stabilization of the Nuss bar. Dislocation data collected retrospectively from the existing clinic software.	—
