Inclusion criteria: Planned surgical treatment of secondary peritonitis
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy, previous organ transplantation, inability to administer antibiotics

| The following will be recorded: duration of postoperative stay in the intensive care unit, duration of hospital stay, readmissions, duration of antibiotic therapy, postoperative day of diagnosis of a wound infection (SSI), course of infection parameters, reoperations, in-hospital mortality and morbidity (Comprehensive Complication Index), specific postoperative complications, postoperative bleeding, functional outcomes, nosocomial infections (urinary tract infections, pneumonia, bacteremia), Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea, myocardial infarctions, pulmonary embolisms, strokes, identified bacterial species in samples, and antibiotic resistance of the isolated strains. | — |
