MeasureTime frame
This study wants to determine the extent to which two weeks of morning light therapy (Bright Light Therapy, BLT) can lead to a reduction in neuropsychiatric symptoms and an improvement in sleep quality and general psychological well-being in children and adolescents with tic and/or obsessive-compulsive disorders. For this, various self-assessment questionnaires are used before and after a two-week course of light therapy. These include the “Selbstbeurteilungsbogen zur Erfassung von Tic- Störungen SBB- TIC“ of the „Diagnostik-System für psychische Störungen nach ICD-10 und DSM-V für Kinder und Jugendliche-III, DISYPS-III“ (Döpfner und Görtz-Dorten, 2017), the „ZWIK-S“ of the „Diagnostikum für Zwangsstörungen im Kindes- und Jugendalter, DZ-KJ“ (Goletz, Adam und Döpfner, 2020), the self-assessment questionnaires of the „Schlafinventar für Kinder und Jugendliche, SI-KJ“ (Lehmkuhl et al., 2015) and the „Inventar zur Erfassung der Lebensqualität bei Kindern und Jugendlichen, ILK“ (Mattejat und Remschmidt, 2011). A follow-up will be conducted for the intervention group after a further 14 days.
