Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria are: - completed basic training in minimally invasive surgery - no previous experience in VR training - medical student at the University of Heidelberg during their clinical years (3rd to 6th year of medical school) - age >18 - physically able to participate in the MIS training program
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: - health conditions contraindicating to undergo sleep deprivation (e.g. major psychological disorders, type 2 diabetes, previous heart attack or stroke)

| Primary endpoints of the study are the performance measures of the VR Trainer. For the basic skills that includes total time need to accomplish the task, number of errors and instrument movement. On top of that, evaluation for the advanced skills (LRYGB) also includes the results of the Objective Structured Assessment of Technical Skills (OSATS). | — |
