Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Assessment of inflammatory activity by determining IL-1, TNF-alpha, IL-10 in different age groups and HRV after specific vagus nerve treatment. The parameters are determined at 6 measurement points before and after treatment. Before the first and after the last measurement point, the DSF (German Pain Questionnaire) is administered as a validated questionnaire. The inflammation parameters are determined by blood sampling before and after treatment at each measurement point, as is heart rate variability. | — |
