Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Visit to the U7a examination at a participating pediatric practice.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Lack of capacity to consent, no PraxisApp.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The screen time of children who had excessive screen time before the U7a, compared to the screen time in the U8 survey. The primary endpoint is also evaluated in a group comparison. The timing is after the follow-up survey, approximately one year post-intervention.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Intra-individual differences in screen time among all children. Pre-post comparison of screen time among children in the intervention group (before U8 vs. before U7a). Pre-post comparison of screen time among children in the control group (before U8 vs. before U7a). Number of children with excessive screen time, screen time of parents in the presence of children. Children's developmental parameters. Problematic internet use by parents. Families' leisure activity behavior. Sociodemographic data. Correlation between accessibility/availability of gardens, playgrounds, public parks, and natural areas and dysregulated screen time. Secondary data, screen time-associated morbidity (ICD-10), use of services, costs incurred. All secondary endpoints are also evaluated in a group comparison.
