Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Optimization and validation of an NIR method for determining blood alcohol concentration using NIR measurements at the fingertip of the index finger. The transferability of a generated chemometric/mathematical calculation model from one subject to others will be investigated. Transferability can, for example, be assessed based on accuracy and precision. Comparison of alcohol concentrations measured with the NIR spectrometer with clinically determined alcohol concentrations in breath and blood. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Investigation of the influence of various parameters on NIR measurements, such as body weight, body fat percentage, muscle mass, body temperature, height, age, gender, skin type, physical activity, and general fitness condition. | — |
