Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women =18 years Regular menstrual cycle (no hormonal contraception) No degenerative joint diseases of the lower extremity No neurological or rheumatological disorders Not pregnant or breastfeeding Written informed consent to participate in the study Untrained group: <2 hours of sports per week (recreational activity) Trained group: active player in the Women’s Bundesliga

Exclusion criteria: Use of hormonal contraceptives Pregnancy or breastfeeding Menstrual cycle disorders that prevent determination of ovulation Previous ACL rupture within the last 12 months Other conditions affecting gait or movement behavior

Analysis of the kinematics (especially dynamic valgus) of the knee joint in the frontal plane depending on the cycle phase and examination of hormone status (estrogen, progesterone) at the time of menstruation, ovulation, and seven days after ovulation using Elisa and Vicon-Nexus camera systems.
