Partners of cancer patients are treated in cancer counselling mostly with the ICD-10 diagnosis F43.8 (Other reactions to severe stress), and sometimes partners of cancer patients also suffer from more severe psychiatric or psychosomatic disorders like affective disorders (F3) or anxiety disorders (F4).

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Study phase 1-4: majority, informed consent, sufficient German language skills, partners of cancer patients (initial diagnosis or relapse) Study phase 2-4: self-declared ability to participate in online assessments, internet access, study conduct with own device (e.g. laptop, smartphone, tablet or PC) Study phase 2: (psycho-)oncological experts (oncologists, psychooncologists, oncological nurses, researchers) or partners of cancer patients

Exclusion criteria: Study phase 1-4: own cancer history as a partners, multiple participation in each study phase Study phase 4: no participation in study phase 4, if there was a participation in study phase 3
