Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Legal age Desire for implant-supported restoration Single tooth gap or free-end situation Sufficient bone support (at least 1.5 mm circumferentially)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy Diseases that can lead to uncontrolled movement or poor patient compliance and thus to inaccurate implantation (e.g., Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, mental retardation) Systemic diseases (e.g., advanced osteoporosis/T-score of 3, bisphosphonate therapy)

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary endpoints of the measurement were the depth deviation of the implant position, expressed in millimeters, as well as the axial deviation of the implant position in degrees and the mesio-distal distance in millimeters.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary parameters included the fit of the surgical guide and the necessity for pre-operative modifications.
