Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosted pulmonary hypertension via right heart catheter -mPAP measured >20 mmHg Given written Consent, for minors at least one parent or legal guardian has to give written consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No written consent Acute infection at time of examination Underlying oncological or neuromuscular disease

Thickness of sublingual endothelial glycocalyx measured using Glycocalyx Measurement Software™, GlycoCheck BV, Netherlands - inital examinatiom either while control appointment at the clinic or while hospital stay for right heart catheter - follow up examination 3-6 months After first examimation during control appointment

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcomes comprised microvascular variables derived from the same recordings as PBR measurement : functional capillary density, capillary blood volume (CBV, microvascular blood flow and erythrocyte velocity (µm/s)
