Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Retired < 5 years - Participants must have retired from working life as part of a regular age-related retirement or through planned partial retirement without serious health reasons - Physical activity < 150 minutes per week and Physical Activity guidelines by WHO are not being achieved (World Health Organization, 2020) - Willing to increase current physical activity - Body weight < 136 kg (maximum weight limit for the equipment)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - early retirement due to serious mental, physical or somatic illnesses excludes - Physician-diagnosed depression - High blood pressure not medically controlled

MeasureTime frame
Physical activity for 14 days with Axivity AX6 sensor, determined before the physical activity programme (T0), after 12 weeks (T1) and after further 12 weeks (T2)

Senior Fitness Test (2-minute step test, chair stand test, biceps curl test, 2.45m up-and-go test, maximum strength (10 repetitions) chest and leg press, questionnaires: GSE - General Self-efficacy Scale, F-SozUK-6 - Social Support, RS-13 - Resilience Scale , RSES-SF - adapted by Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale determined T0, T1 and T2 Questionnaire on perceived physical activity (self-created) determines T1 and T2
