Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Diagnosed with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH), treated at the Neonatology Department of the University Hospital Bonn. - Written informed consent from parents or legal guardians. - Parents/legal guardians must have sufficient German or English language skills to understand the study information and consent process.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Absence of written informed consent from parents or legal guardians. - Medical instability of the child that prevents safe participation in the assessments. - Other medical or social conditions that would prevent safe completion of the motion sensor measurements.

- Correlation of motor scores obtained from motion sensors with the motor subscales of the Bayley-III (BSID-III), where available. - Analysis of the longitudinal development of motor abilities across the time points (8, 12, 18, and 24 months). - Identification of risk profiles for developmental delays based on clinical severity indicators of CDH (e.g., defect size, ECMO, duration of ventilation).
