Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing silicone oil removal from 07/2022 - 12/2023 at the University Eye Clinic Bonn following retinal detachment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Other causes than retinal detachment

o Recording of visual acuity progression in patients with SO tamponade for retinal detachment o Identification of predictive factors associated with a protective or negative visual outcome
