Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Healthy adults, with or without non-specific low back pain • No rheumatic, neurological, or musculoskeletal disorders • No prior surgery or scars between Th12 and S1 • No use of anticoagulants or muscle relaxants • No malignant disease, fractures, infections, radiculopathy, cauda equina syndrome, or dizziness • Willingness to participate in a single 15-minute yoga or sham yoga session • Written informed consent after verbal explanation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Rheumatic diseases (e.g., ankylosing spondylitis) • Neurological disorders or neuropathic pain • Malignant diseases • Fractures in the lumbar spine or pelvic region • Previous surgery or scars between Th12 and S1 • Skin lesions or infections in the examination area • Use of anticoagulants or muscle relaxants • Radiculopathy or cauda equina syndrome • Dizziness or unstable cardiovascular conditions • Pregnancy (recommended exclusion due to posture and abdominal load) • Inability or unwillingness to provide written informed consent

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Before and after the intervention the shear mobility of the thoracolumbar fascia will be assessed with diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound (Butterlfy iQ) during a standardized lumbar flexion movement.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Lumbar ROM (TRICURO device); self-reported LBP (yes/no); participant guess of allocation.
